Installing the trim
15 Install roses or escutcheons
For sectional trim (Figure 15a)
1 Position the inside rose on the door so it is centered on
the trim mounting plate.
2 Use the spanner wrench to install the rose ring onto
the inside mounting plate.
3 Position the outside rose on the door so it is centered
on the trim mounting plate.
4 Use the spanner wrench to install the rose ring onto
the outside mounting plate.
For J trim (Figure 15b)
1 Position the inside escutcheon on the door so it is
centered on the trim mounting plate. Install the
escutcheon screw.
2 Use the spanner wrench to install the trim ring onto
the inside mounting plate.
3 Position the outside escutcheon on the door over the
alignment plate.
4 Use the spanner wrench to install the trim ring onto
the outside trim mounting plate.
